A while back I ran across the gallery of a woman who took a lot of photos of herself interacting with... herself. I was stumped as to how she would have done that, but I'm starting to learn how to use image editing software (Gimp) and realized it's really pretty easy. I just set my camera up on a tripod, took a pic, then changed, got into the new position, and took another pic. (Using the timer to trip the shutter, of course.) Then, I opened both photos in Gimp and used the clone tool to clone one version of me over the proper location in the other photo. It was quite easy. Unfortunately the focus was a bit off, but I consider the exercise a success ;-)
