When we planned this side-trip on the way home from Ed's Mom's house we had hoped to find this little place we pulled off last time where we had walked along the beach to some rocks -it was a really pretty area. We saw a sign for "Old Woman Bay" and we both looked at eachother -it looked like the place we had stopped last time, but at that time it was just a hidden little pull-off, there were no signs or anything. We turned around and went in. There was a fee to park, but we were mad that they had commercialized our spot, so we didn't pay. We walked the beach -it was farther to the rocks than we remembered, and the stream we had to cross got deeper. I ended up getting my pants wet crossing it. We walked to the rocks, played on them for awhile, then I had the bright idea to jump into the lake. More on that later. On the way back to the car we met a nice woman and her dog -they were from Minnesota. I changed into dry clothes, and we continued on. About 20 miles later we found out that we were mistaken -the spot that we pulled off last time was a little further than we thought.
