If you've never been to colorful Nassau before, you're in for a charming treat. This tour will take you along Bay Street, the heart of Nassau's shopping district, to the Queens Staircase. Built in the days of England's Queen Victoria, the stair case consists of over 65 steps hewn out of solid coral rock. Climb the stairs to the Water Tower where, for a small fee, you can take the elevator to the observation point, 216 feet above sea level for a panoramic view of Nassau. Fort Fincastle is your next stop. Built in 1793, the structure was designed in the shape of a paddle wheel steamer. Next, you will have an exterior visit of Fort Charlotte. Built in the Napoleonic era to defend the island against marauding pirates, Fort Charlotte offers you a historic peek into the past. Before returning to the ship, there will be a brief photo stop at the famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island.

This fascinating, moving underwater observatory gives everyone a chance to explore the underwater world of the Bahamas. From the pier in Nassau, you'll be shuttled by boat to the marine park at Athol Island. Along the way, enjoy a scenic ride through the heart of Nassau and Paradise Island. Upon arrival, you'll board the Seaworld Explorer. Some five feet below the surface you'll observe a delicate colony of coral through clear glass windows. These waters are known as the “Sea Gardens,” filled with many varieties of tropical fish. Then get your camera ready for the frantic fish feeding session, as the captain entices hundreds of fish to the vessel in search of food. After exploring the waters of Athol Island, you'll return to the ship.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for anyone who has dreamed of an encounter with a dolphin. This wonderful facility is home to Universal Studios' Flipper, who starred in the 1996 movie of the same name. You'll board a powered catamaran for a short ride to Blue Lagoon Island, where the Dolphin Encounter is located. Once ashore, a guide will introduce you to the fascinating world of the dolphin, including information on its life, anatomy, echolocation and the environment in which it lives. Afterwards, you will be led to a floating platform, where your encounter will take place. Have your picture taken while kissing a dolphin (photos can be purchased separately). Learn about the anatomy of a real dolphin and pet and feed a dolphin while standing in waist-deep water. Finally, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to relax, browse through the souvenir shop or check out the photos of you and the dolphin. Your catamaran will then return you to the pier.

Pirates & Dungeons Tour

Ahoy mates! Your journey back in time to Nassaus notorious past as a pirate haven begins at the gangway of your cruise ship. You will be invited to climb aboard an air-conditioned bus by a pirate who will prepare you for the odyssey that awaits all who sign up. Your first stop is a brief one in Nassaus Rawson Square. Your next stop is at Fort Fincastle where your crew will be greeted by a Government certified complimentary guide who will give you a tour of the fort and the Queens staircase.
Once at Fort Charlotte you will the option of either receiving a brief history of the fort from your driver/guide or going into the fort. Should you choose to enter the fort, you will be required to pay a fee ($5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors and $2.00 for children below 14 years of age) before you are given a tour by a Government certified, complimentary guide. Your guide will escort you to the forts lower level (the dungeons) after allowing your group to take photographs of the panoramic view of the harbour from atop the forts ramparts. You will again board the bus and set a course for the Pirates of Nassau museum, the highlight of the tour.
At the museum you and your crew will be put in the charge of a pirate that will take you on a tour of what Dr. David Cordingly once called the best pirate attraction in the world. Your party will be led by their guides first through a town at around midnight; then below deck on the pirate ship Revenge; to a seaside meeting with the fierce she-pirates Anne Bonney and Mary Read; be introduced to pirate justice; to a showdown with Blackbeard; and much more! Picture taking and videotaping are allowed so you need not have a photographic memory.

The seahorse shaped submarine propels you in your own personal underwater scooter at a depth of 15', around a coral reef and alongside colorful fish at a speedy two knots. There may be steps, inclines, cobblestone surfaces, and extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitations should take this into account.
