From October 2005:

From a flyer I got in the mail. Paid for by the ~DuPage County Republican Central Committee.

“Our Forest Preserves are a gift that we pass from one generation to the next. Let's enjoy what others have given us and be careful to pass along something better than we received.” -Carl Schultz, Commissioner

~DuPage County enjoys one of the finest forest preserve districts in America.

Carl is committed to building on this firm foundation. He has worked to keep balanced budgets and to provide a strong base that will enable the District to have balanced budgets for the next 5 years and beyond. He is a strong advocate for open space and habitat improvements, which provides us all with a respite from our hectic lives and a healthier environment. He supports recreation and education, opening an education center, miles of award winning recreational trails, and more.

Carl lives in Aurora with his wife Caryn and two daughters, Mary and Allie. He is a degreed Horticulturist and is self-employed, consulting horticulture to ~DuPage residents since 1986.

Elect a family man… a businessman… a horticulturist.
