Rain before the wind, topsail halyards you must mind Wind before the rain, soon will make plain sail again (rain before wind indicates a gale force storm approaching, wind ahead of rain will die out as rain arrives)

No dew at night, rain by morning No dew at morning, rain by next day (dew indicates a fair tomorrow)
